Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
